NBTA 2008 Conference
Welcome to Los Angeles!
LABTA and the City of Angels are proud to be part of the 2008 NBTA Convention.

We invite you to sign up to be a part of the convention by way of volunteering.

As a valued volunteer, you will be able to take part of both the opening and closing festivities, regardless of the day you volunteer. All Volunteers will be able to take advantage of the various educational sessions being offered on the day you choose to general session breakfast and lunch on the day you are volunteering.

If you are a Direct, you will also be able to gain access to the convention floor. Allied Volunteers must be registered for the convention to attend the trade show.

As a Thank You for assisting LABTA during the convention, we would like to outfit you with our stylish vests.  Please don’t forget to choose the proper size.

All volunteers will be required to attend a Volunteer Orientation Meeting prior to the convention (date to be announced) at which time you will be provided with detailed instructions.

There will be a Volunteer Office at the Convention Center where you can check in, be assigned your placement/duties from a Volunteer Manager and receive your Volunteer Credentials.

If you are a student volunteer and are applying course credits you will be required to sign in and out with a Volunteer Manager (the appropriate paperwork will be provided to you by your college professor).

A description of the volunteer positions can be found at the bottom of each page. Got questions, we have that covered. Simply send your questions to Carol Ann Bakeman at volunteers@labta.org.

As the convention dates come closer, we will be sending you update information as necessary.

Thank you for your interest in the 2008 NBTA Convention.
Sincerely,

The 2008 LABTA Volunteer Committee
