EMA management and staff are committed to providing high
quality, reasonable management services using efficient personal computer-based
membership, financial, and meeting planning software. Our staff is highly
trained and bonded for your protection. Our staff consists of association
management executives, meeting planners, membership retention specialists,
accounting personnel, and publications personnel. Each entity will be available
to support the requirements of the association, as needed, to ensure a
professionally managed organization that your members can proud of. EMA can
provide the following:
Administration
- Provide an Executive Director and support personnel to
handle day-to-day administration
- Provide a central address with office hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each business
day except for holidays
- Provide live response to incoming calls during business
hours and provide after-hours voice messaging service.
- Maintain files and inventory
- Maintain membership database
- Prepare and process association mail
- Provide typing & word processing services upon request
- Provide fax and email communication capability available 24 hours a
day, 7 days a week
- Maintain a master calendar for the board of directors
- Provide storage for the association's files and records
Accounting and Financial Management
EMA has bookkeeping
personnel to supply daily record keeping, check preparation services, and
monthly reports using PC-based software. Our system facilitates record
keeping and allows preparation of financial statements in a timely manner. A
chart of accounts will be set up in consultation with the treasurer,
financial records and receipts will be maintained for each expenditure,
deposits will be processed and recorded, and bank statements will be
reconciled. Financial statements will be provided to the treasurer fifteen
days prior to each board/general meeting. Our system allows us to:
- Provide bookkeeping and financial support
- Account for membership dues monies
- Bill members as required
- Collect, deposit, and record dues monies, if applicable
- Account for membership meeting and special event monies
in coordination with applicable officer, board member, and accountant
- Assist president, treasurer, accountant, or other
officer in the preparation of
- profit and loss reports
- Work with the president and treasurer in order to
establish an annual budget Review all activities to assure accurate
accounting and compliance with all non-profit regulations
- Coordinate preparation of tax returns and related
filings with CPA chosen by the association’s Board of Directors
Equipment
Our office equipment includes IBM compatible computers,
Macintosh computers, laser printers, postage machines, copier machines,
shredders, scanners, voice mail system, lettering machines,
along with a complete
system for computer design. EMA provides all hardware and software necessary to
support its clients routine and specialty needs.
